Australia's Oil Basins granted Derby block, Western Australia

The article reports that Western Australia's Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) has given the formal documents to Oil Basins Ltd. for its application number 5/07-8 EP of the Derby Block. The company has to respond to the offer of the government within a month. According to the company, the block constitutes of large amount of shale gas in it.
