A Study on Nonverbal Communication of Salespersons and their Service Behavior towards Customers in a Sales Encounter

The article discusses a study that examined the impact of salespersons' nonverbal communication towards customers and customer evaluations of the service behavior of the former. Results indicate that facial expression has high significance to the friendliness and credibility of salespersons. Female participants were satisfied with the overall nonverbal communication by the salespersons.
