ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the 30th anniversary of the Miss Indian World cultural pageant for Native American women, which will be held during the Gathering of Nations Powwow at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 26, 2014, with a focus on the experiences of past Miss Indian World winners. Pageant winners discussed include Lovina Louie, Megan Young, and Kansas K Begaye.
