The article reports that the Texas-based El Paso Firemen & Policemen's Pension Fund trustees were advised at its February 2014 meeting to invest at private equity firm The Riverside Co. It says that the target of the pension fund is to invest 10% of its portfolio in private equity. It states that prior to the meeting, $5 million was approved by the Investment Committee and system's analyst Meketa Investment Group to be committed to the Riverside Micro-Cap Fund (RMCF) III.
