ABSTRACT
Municipal bond yields fell between two and three basis points on March 26, 2003, while new issues provided a focus for the market led by North Carolina, which sold 283 million dollars of general obligation bonds. In the municipal bond market, traders said yields fell between two and three basis points as the market drew strength from bond-friendly war reports and aggressive new issue pricing. Bonds due on 2013 yielded 17 basis points more than Municipal Market Data's Tuesday yield curve scale while bonds due on2018 yielded 14 basis points more and bonds due on 2023 yielded seven basis points more.
