ABSTRACT
The article focuses on Master Lee Yujie's reinvention of Huashan Daoism through rituals, cultivation or thought in China. The system associated to the mastery of Yujie through his academic achievements aiming for religious concord and dispel Communist-Nationalist strife is pointed out. The concept of Daoism on transcendence, which is also considered a destiny for Buddhism and Confucianism, is discussed. The philosophical aspect of Daoism in cultivating its inner elixir is noted.
