ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Gruner and Jahr USA Publishing to restructure its "Family Circle" and "`McCall" women's magazines by making them more attractive for younger readers. Executives at the publishing group also denied rumors that either of these magazines would become a U.S. version of the "Prima" magazine of France, Great Britain and Germany. It will also continue to publish "Child," after finalizing the purchase of The New York Times Co.'s Women's Magazines division.
