ABSTRACT

Reports that roughly 200,000 Americans who suffer from anginalike chest pain but are free of heart disease may find relief in an antidepressant drug often used to treat migraines. Study published in the `New England Journal of Medicine' in which researchers found that small daily doses of imipramine cut the frequency of chest pain in people with healthy hearts by half; Comments by study's lead author Richard Cannon III.
