ABSTRACT
The paper makes an analysis of the recent dynamics of the investment funds operating on the Romanian capital market, having in consideration also the global and European trends and figures regarding investment fund industry. Despite the current level of development of the Romanian capital market and the negative effects of the financial crisis, the investment fund industry experienced a continuous growth during the last years, a trend that will continue in the future.
