The article looks at the use of fans and forced convection in process cooling. Particular focus is given to the options available for cooling industrial equipment, which include heat sinks, heat pipes, and water cooling. The physics involved in thermodynamics are explored, along with a discussion on the utilization of heat in many industrial settings. Considerations on the application of fans and forced convection are noted.
