ABSTRACT
TYRONE ace Ronan O'Neill has admitted that the humiliation of being benched in last year's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Mayo was one of the 'lowest' moments of his football career. The 21-year-old Omagh star started on the bench, but came on to replace the injured Stephen O'Neill in the first half of their six-point defeat before he was subsequently hauled off and replaced by Kyle Coney in the final quarter. O'Neill has revealed that the experience left him disappointed, but he insists that it will make him a better player as he seeks to nail down a starting place this year.
