In this article, the author offers information on the Ayurvedic Shirodhara treatment offered in South India. She reflects on the benefits of the treatment including decrease in insomnia, depression and anxiety and also discusses the procedure of offering the treatment. She states that the treatment also comprises on a body massage that begins with a prayer.
