ABSTRACT
The article examines the growing popularity and acceptance of paternity leave, noting that it increases men's involvement at home, allows women to become more involved at work, and improves the workplace environment for parents. According to the author, paternity leave helps women address work-life balance issues while also correcting the overuse of paid leave for mothers. Particular attention is given to California's state laws on paternity leave.
