ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the spatial variability in suspended particulate matter concentration within the active layer of the White Sea. Topics discussed include calculation of marine suspended particulate matter (SPM) in the surface layer based on satellite color scanners and with standard algorithms. It mentions that thickness of photic layer in the White Sea is 10-15 m on average.
