ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the contribution that content and language integrated learning (CLIL) can help students learn undergraduate anthropology course in a second language subject, as well as enhance their language abilities. It discusses implementation of CLIL into practice and anthropology at small English-medium liberal arts college Akita International University (AIU) in Akita, Northeastern Japan.
