ABSTRACT
The article discusses the impact of nuclear energy on modernity, in response to a work by Tere Vadén and Antii Salminen about the correlation between fossil fuel and modern society. In contrast to Vadén and Salminen's proposition, the author believes that there should be a focus on how nuclear energy technologies affect the creation of ideas and experiential realities within industrial and post-industrial society. The environmental impact of nuclear energy and reactors is mentioned.
