ABSTRACT
The article discusses the scenarios that underscore sea change of the transformation of the enterprise risk management (ERM) which greatly affect the role of general counsel (GC) in terms of the responsibilities they incur and the skill sets they require. It cites the need for GCs to collaborate with ERM to cover all issues that could lead to problems by assessing trends in the digital era. The ancillary consequences of the impact of the Internet for the organization are also tackled.
