The article reports on the move of the U.S. Supreme Court to grant certiorari in an ESOP case per request of Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr. to overturn a Federal district court's position. It refers to the ERISA violation and stock drop case of Fifth Third Bancorp against John Dudenhoeffer. It adds that a Federal district court's ruling on the case was reversed by the Sixth Circuit of the Court of Appeals.
