ABSTRACT
The article presents a study regarding the human trafficking of children in Makassar, Indonesia. The study examines the factors of children's vulnerability to human trafficking which include poverty, runaway from due to violence, sexual abuse or loneliness, and peer influence. It discusses the various places where trafficking usually occurs including streets, nightclubs and mobile phones. It concludes that families, especially parents, must hear and respond to the needs of their children.
