ABSTRACT
This article examines the results of a structured review of the literature on in vivo molecular assessment of osseointegrated endosseous dental implants. It discusses the methods used in the study, in vivo models used, characteristics of the included in vivo reports and results of a genome-wide assessment of bone formation and repair conducted in vivo.
