Announces that five months after US District Judge Pierre Leval ruled July 22, 1992 that Texaco had violated fair use provisions of Copyright Act of 1976, New York court agreed to hear Texaco's appeal of case. Case to be restated in US Court of Appeals for Second Circuit, New York in spring; Issue of photocopying as fair use; Involvement of American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), Association of Research Libraries, and Special Libraries Association (SLA).
