Considers the need to discuss the issues involved in teaching globalization as part of a survey history. Reasons for historians to be uncomfortable with the term globalization; Vantage through which globalization can be usefully be approached in historical thinking and teaching; Opportunity that can be taken by history teachers from globalization.
