ABSTRACT
The article features the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Kentucky, winner of the Best Health Care Project award for 2013. An overview of the planning and preparations for the remodeling of the 477-bed hospital is provided. Also discussed are the use of building information modeling and integrated project delivery in the design and construction and key players involved including general contractor Turner Construction Co. and designer Hammel Green and Abrahamson Inc.
