ABSTRACT
The article offers the insights of several honorees of the 2013 Healthleaders 20 on their passion in healthcare, including Douglas Hawthorne, Kristine Aznavoorian, and Fred Trotter. Hawthorne visualizes his company Texas Health as a one-stop shop for employers, individuals, and municipalities to improve health. Aznavoorian has been working as a pediatric emergency nurse to help sexually abused children. Trotter believes that collaboration without meritocracy is communism.
