ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the evolution of blood gas analysis technology. It discusses the existence of point-of-care (POC) devices, in which Cheryl K. Daly of Lee Memorial Health System says that the said devices were becoming more prevalent in the clinical setting. It explores the significance of quality control (QC) program in evaluating the performance, functions, and ability of blood gas analyzers in error detection.
