ABSTRACT
Describes two cases of active venovenous bypass of the retrohepatic vena cava utilizing two atrial cannulae. Patients' medical backgrounds; High mortality rate for patients with injuries to the hepatic veins and retrohepatic vena cava; Repair of a bullet wound of the vena cava in one patient; Performance of a left trisegmentectomy in the second patient.
