ABSTRACT
Announces the death of 89-year-old German immigrant Lou Jacobs, who started his clown act for Ringling Brothers during Calvin Coolidge's presidency. His clown face was the circus's emblem and the image on a postage stamp; He was arguably one of the funniest acts in the history of live performances.
