Announces that last week, James Stockdale, an ex-pilot, honored billionaire Texas oilman H. Ross Perot for his attempt to airlift Christmas gifts to prisoners in Hanoi. Perot asked the retired admiral to be his `interim' running mate to fulfill ballot requirements in his maverick bid for the White House.
