ABSTRACT
Reports that vows to reduce ozone levels in Los Angeles have become reality: Ozone levels were exceedingly high during 129 days last year--a record low. Attributes the low levels to a two-year-old antipollution plan that restricts emissions of pollutants ranging from oil refinery discharges to charcoal lighter fluid. The state plans even stricter regulation within the next twenty years. Others planning to adopt California's tight auto emissions standards.
