ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the Turkish Republic Day that was founded by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk will be celebrated on October 29, 2013 as declared by the Governor of Illinois Pat Quinn to recognize the contribution of Turkish-Americans to the ethnic diversity in the U.S. It informs that the Turkish-Americans have shared their valuable heritage with the U.S by making the country their homeland.
