ABSTRACT
8 With double-digit appreciation and higher loan rates, just 64.5% of new or existing homes sold in Q3 were affordable to families earning a median income of $64,000, the lowest level since '08, NAHB said. The drop from 69.3% in Q2 was the worst in 9 years, signaling home sales and price gains may slow. Oct. foreclosure filings fell 28%, RealtyTrac said.
