ABSTRACT
The article looks at failed terra cotta repairs on the façade of buildings. Examples where the repair was inappropriate are presented, including neglected water infiltration, badly installed sealant, and unresolved moisture. The use of patch materials, replacement units, and surface-applying sealants are also addressed.
