The article focuses on the International Green Construction Code (IgCC) issued in 2012 by the International Code Council (ICC) and its impact on moisture management in green building. It is suggested that in order to meet the low-emissions criteria of the Code, solvent-based products are being replaced by water-based which results in moisture problems and mold growth.
