ABSTRACT
The article reports that oil and gas exploration and production company Tethys Petroleum Ltd. has agreed to sell 50 percent of its Kazakh oil and gas assets to oil investment company SinoHan Oil and Gas Investment B.V. as of November 5, 2013. Terms of the purchase agreement are discussed including the initial cash payment of 75 million dollars and provisions for performance bonus payments to Tethys. Tethys will remain the operator of the Kazakh assets, the author says.
