ABSTRACT
The article presents the highlights of the 2013 World Superbike Championship held at Phillip Island in Melbourne, Victoria in February 2013. Tom Sykes won the championship title, recognizing him as the second king of the Kawasaki rider since Scott Russell held the record in 1993. He successfully claimed 23 points from rider Eugene Laverty who finished second place. Davide Giugliano won the third place.
