ABSTRACT
The article explores one particular systematic and normative theorization of social justice in the book "Social Justice in Education" by Barry Bull. The author takes on a theory-to-practice project of grounding an educational theory of social justice in Rawls' distributive justice tome. It is contended that in Bull's formulation of social justice principles, he fails adequately to consider sociocultural identity, particularly with regard to the role it plays in the provenance of conflicts.
