ABSTRACT
The article provides an overview of the renovation project for ABC Dbayeh, a 41,806-square-meter department store in Beirut, Lebanon. A multiple theater and more retail floors were added to the original project plan before the construction started in 2010. Some of the efforts of nArchitects to meet the new requirements without changing the original budget included adjusting the building's design to reduce construction waste.
