The article reflects on the author's meeting with hunters and authors Craig Boddington, Terry Wieland and Wayne van Zwoll and reveals how they carried forward the work of hunting and gun writer Jack O'Connor in promoting the .270 Winchester hunting rifle from Winchester Ammunition Co. He mentions how these authors got inspired from the work of O'Connor. Further are discussed specifications of the .270 rifle.
