Searches for new, light, neutral vector particles are being pursued by several different experiments in the world, using e+e- collsion data at center-of-mass energies ranging between ∼1 and ∼10 GeV. In this paper I will review the most recent results from KLOE, BESIII, BaBar and Belle and briefly discuss open issues and future perspectives in the field.
