ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the sixth edition of Ernst & Young LLP's Global Perspectives: 2013 REITs report according to which, real estate investment trusts are expected to exceed the 80bn dollars invested by them around the world in each of the past two years. According to Howard Roth, EY's global real estate leader, REITs have been very active in the past three years in the acquisition market.
