ABSTRACT
The article reports on the 20th anniversary of cable television (TV) network Scripps Networks Interactive's cable TV channel Food Network in 2013. It highlights the channel's transformation from a channel that used to be given away for free to cable TV operators into one of the industry's most popular channels. The significance of Food Network in the lifestyle cable TV market is discussed. The chefs and other personalities who participated in promoting cooking are highlighted.
