The article presents a sermon preached at Jubilee! Circle, a progressive, inclusive community in Columbia, South Carolina which is influenced by the Creation Spirituality movement, ecumenical, feminist and traditional Christian theologies, on Sunday, January 27, 2013. The readings include verses from bible chapters Isaiah 62:1-5 on being termed as forsaken, John 2:1-11 on keeping the good wine, and a teaching from the Chinese classic text Tao Te Ching on leaving each other in peace.
