ABSTRACT
The article investigates the approach of healthcare in prisons in New Zealand. It highlights reports on prison health raised in 2004, which led to the review of all health policies and procedures and implementation of incident and risk management reporting systems. The process of making health services complains in the prison is illustrated, along with statistics related to prison primary healthcare.
