ABSTRACT
The article describes how the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) used big data system to communicate to its audience. In the 2012 tournament, USTA used IBM technology to stream data, broadcast live video, and provide statistics in real-time. Examples of its use of predictive analytics and cloud computing are also included. Both fans and media were able to access the information through the social network sites Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Google+.
