ABSTRACT
CELEBRITY lawyer Alan Dershowitz, who successfully defended OJ Simpson, claims that during the notorious 1995 trial the prosecuting lawyer, Marcia Clark, attempted to distract Simpson's lead defender Johnny Cochran before his closing argument by whispering in his ear: 'When you're up there, I want you to think of only one thing: I'm not wearing any underwear.' Hard to imagine our female silks on Chancery Lane resorting to such grubby tactics.
