The article focuses on the technological innovations in the information and communications technologies (ICT) sector in Africa. It says that Canadian firm WeWi Telecommunications Inc. has launched its solar-powered SOL Laptop in Ghana in August 2013. Luke Ambrose of Insight projects over 15% growth in the electronic learning (e-learning) sector in 16 African countries from 2011-2016. It adds that the massive open online course (MOOC) open new management opportunities for entrepreneurs.
