ABSTRACT
The article considers the problems and the scientific & methodological grounds for the innovative modernization of residential construction. Specific features and methodological issues are studied in their relation to overcoming the difficulties arising in the economy in general and particularly in the sector of residential construction. Problems of innovative modernization of the residential construction sector in Kazakhstan are analyzed applying the SWOT-analysis, and the corresponding conclusions are presented.
