ABSTRACT
The article discusses developments in robotic welding technology that were once considered too expensive or not robust enough but are finding applications in the industry as of July 2013. The technologies discussed include Touch Sensing, Vision Systems, Dynamic Laser Tracking and Adaptive Welding Technologies. According to the article, these technologies are now helping manufacturers to be more productive and lower the cost of welding.
