Reports that Brett Weston observed his 80th birthday by burning 60 years' worth of negatives that built his fame as a photographer. A few of his most prized negatives will be stored in the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, Ariz., slightly damaged so admirers can look at them but not print them.
