ABSTRACT
Reports that the jobless rate in America's prisons is 90 percent. Among the nation's 800,000 inmates, not one in 10 has an industrial job that might lead to work after release--a fact that exacerbates the crime problem. Details of a study by the US Bureau of Prisons revealing the crime rate of inmates who work versus those who do not; How the new report may help wardens.
